Communicating Effectively about Donation (CEaD)
The CEaD training was designed to train donation professionals in the use of effective communication skills with families considering organ donation.
In a national test, the CEaD training was shown to improve the quality of communication and authorization rates with the general public.
Communicating Effectively about Donation for GTEx (CEaD – GTEx)
The CEaD-GTEx training expands on the CEaD training to include specific information about requesting tissues for research as part of the Genotype-Tissue Expression Project, funded by the NIH Common Fund.
This training is applicable to asking families to donate tissues and requests for tissues for research.

Communicating Effectively about Donation for VCA (CEaD-VCA)
The CEaD-VCA training addresses the unique challenges of approaching organ donor families for Vascularized Composite Allographs.
