Who created the CEaD Trainings?

A team of researchers led by Dr. Laura A. Siminoff created the CEaD series of communication training programs, which are based on 30 years of research with thousands of families who made organ and tissue donation decisions.

Which CEaD trainings are available to Donation Professionals?

We are currently enrolling for the CEaD-I DO training. The CEaD, CEaD-VCA and CEaD-GTEx are available to select organizations upon request.

Is there any research that proves that the CEaD trainings are effective?

Yes. The CEaD training series for Donation Professionals is based upon 30 years of research with Donation Professionals and family decision makers. The CEaD training has been shown to increase authorization rates while improving families’ satisfaction and the quality of their communication with Donation Professionals. How long does the CEaD-I DO training take to complete?

The CEaD-I DO takes two hours to complete.

Do I have to complete the training in one sitting?

No. You can pause and save your progress as you go. Once you complete all modules and exercises you will receive a certificate of completion.

Does the CEaD-I DO training work on both PC and Apple platforms?

Yes.

Can I register for any of the CEaD trainings?

We are currently only enrolling participants for the CEaD-I DO training. Create an account or sign in to an already existing account by pressing “Log In” to register for the CEaD-I DO. Contact us if you or your organization is interested in using any of our other trainings.
